This FAQ is about the New (Blue) version of RefWorks, released to Quinnipiac in 2020. If you are currently using the Legacy (Orange) version of RefWorks, please consider migrating to the newer, more full-featured version, using these instructions. Information about the Legacy version can be found here.

Absolutely!

1. When you are in the New RefWorks interface, either select the references for which you would like to generate citations, or navigate to the correct folder and select the desired publications. If you wish to create references for all the items in a folder, select nothing.

2. Once you have completed your selection process, navigate to the Cite button, which looks like a right quotation mark, in the top tool bar. Select Create Bibliography.

3. The next screen will contain your reference in your last used format. To change that, navigate to the style selection menu, on the top toolbar.

4. Start typing AMA, and you will see the option come up. Select the correct option ( AMA 11th Edition) and the references will be reprocessed. Once that is complete, you may export your reference list according to the options on the page.
