In order to ensure sustained QU access to Micromedex, the library must notify you of the usage restrictions of our academic license: 

Allowed:

  • All student educational use
  • Faculty/Staff use for teaching purposes
  • Faculty/Staff use for clinical or emergency response services if the user is not compensated in any way for providing such services 

Not allowed:

  • All other faculty/staff clinical use****

Micromedex has a new app - a single and comprehensive app

1. On your computer, navigate to Micromedex through the Netter Library's website.

2. Once in Micromedex, either select the 'Download mobile apps' option listed at the bottom of the purple Resources box, or click on the 'Mobile Application Access' link in the top right corner.

 

3. You will be presented with three options. Select the first: Micromedex Mobile Apps Access (Included with subscription).

4. Installation instructions will appear. New Mobile App Activation and Instructions:

Step 1: Visit the App Store or Google Play® from your device and search Micromedex.

Step 2: From the App Store or Google Play, select download / install the application. You may be prompted to enter your Apple or Google ID.

Step 3: The app will download to your app library, or directly to your device.

Step 4: Open the app. The app will display an activation code and a link to the Micromedex application.

To activate the app:

a. Follow the link from your app. Enter login information if required.

         OR

b. Follow the link to activate new mobile app via Micromedex online activation page.

Step 5Enter the provided activation code. Click "Activate Device". Begin using the app.
