While on campus follow the links from the Netter’s Library website to UpToDate. Once there, click on the "Log In / Register" link and create an account using your QU email address. After creating your personal account, you will be able to use UpToDate off campus after logging into your personal account.

You will need to create a personal account via Citrix if you don't have one. Follow the steps below.
1. Log into MyQ - go to 'Information Technology' tab - then 'Information Technology Services'.
2. Click on 'Citrix' link under 'Getting Started'.
3. Access the Virtual Desktop Portal: QU Citrix portal (https://myapps.quinnipiac.edu)
4. Log into Citrix with your QU credentials.
Note: If you are prompted to Detect Workspace when you first login, click the Use web browser link. In some circumstances the Citrix Workspace app provides some benefits, but for most interactions the web version will suffice.
5. Select University Libraries.
6. A remote desktop session will open. It might take a little while to load. Open a web browser, then go to the Netter Library.
7. Click on the UpToDate link from the side toolbar.
8. Click the "Log In / Register" link and create an account using your QU email address.

After your account is created:
- On your mobile device, download the UpToDate app
- Open the app & login with your UpToDate username/password
- Use anywhere via wifi or you phone's network connection.
NOTE: To maintain off-campus access to UpToDate via the app, you will need to log into your personal UpToDate account on campus or off campus via Citrix every 90 days to prove your continued affiliation with Quinnipiac University.
This app requires use of an internet connection or data from your mobile plan. In other words, UpToDate will not work in airplane mode.
