You can use the Quinnipiac University Library's Interlibrary Loan Service (called ILLiad, or ILL) to request an item such as a book or a journal article, from another library.

ILL is free of charge to the QU community and provides access to materials not owned by any of the libraries at Quinnipiac.

For more information, or to start your ILL request, see the Interlibrary Loan web page.

HOW TO ORDER AN ILL:

If you have ordered an ILL before, simply login to your ILL account here, begin a new  request for the type of material you would like (see image below), fill in the information about this article, and submit.

If you have never ordered an ILL before, use the same link as above.

  • Using your QU username and password, sign into your account. You will be asked to fill out a brief form with some information. The most important part of this process is to change your home library from Arnold Bernhard Library to Netter Library if you are a Nursing, Medicine, or Health Sciences student.
  • Once you have submitted the form, begin a new article request (see image below).
  • Fill in the information about this article and hit submit at the bottom of the form.
  • An email will be sent notifying you that the article is ready for pickup. Click the link in the email and retrieve the PDF from your account!
